Help & FAQ

What is Hog To Hog?

Hog To Hog is online curling built around the strategy, suspense, and friendly competition of the real game.

HogToHog compared to other apps

HogToHog puts curling strategy first, with asynchronous multiplayer, authentic physics, club play, and practice tools in one place. See what makes HogToHog different.

How do I get started?

Create an account or sign in with Google or Apple, then create a game, join a club, or accept a challenge. If you already have an active game, Hog To Hog can bring you back to it when you return.

Do I need to verify my email?

Yes. Email-and-password accounts must verify their address before creating or joining games, accepting challenges, or joining clubs. The Account & sign-in screen remains available if you need to correct the address first. Google and Apple accounts arrive verified by their provider.

How do I change my email address?

Open the profile menu and choose Account & sign-in. If you sign in with email and a password, choose Change and verify the new address from its inbox. Your current email stays active until verification is complete.

If you sign in only with Google or Apple, the address belongs to that provider and is shown read-only. Manage it with Google or Apple. For an Apple private-relay address, change the forwarding destination in your Apple Account settings.

What are clubs for?

Clubs give players a shared space to organize, review activity, and challenge one another more easily.

How does team skill affect missed shots?

Team skill changes the size of the possible execution miss for a shot. Leads have the widest miss range, seconds and thirds are tighter, and skips are the tightest. Very fast shots can add extra directional risk.

The four team levels are Beer League, Super League, Pro, and God Mode. The level changes both the possible miss size and how often wider misses occur, so the maximum alone does not describe a typical shot. The tables below show the largest expected miss at each level for a standard four-player team.

Team level Lead max weight miss Second max weight miss Third max weight miss Skip max weight miss
Beer League 7.59 ft 7.18 ft 6.78 ft 6.37 ft
Super League 5.46 ft 4.93 ft 4.27 ft 3.00 ft
